Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

Job Description:

You will be working predominantly on small to medium sized clients with turnover levels up to £100m.

Role:

• Supporting the audit seniors and manager throughout the audit process
• Preparation of limited company accounts
• Preparation of accounts for partnerships and sole traders
• Preparation of corporation tax, personal tax and partnership tax returns
• Other ad hoc work as required e.g. MTD, VAT returns, PAYE matters etc.

What you will need to succeed:

You will need to be at least ACCA part-qualified with 2 years audit and accounts preparation experience working in a UK accountancy practice.

Audit Manager

Job Description:

You will manage and control the audit process throughout the practice, with client turnover up to £100m.

Role:

• Leading audits from planning to completion
• Managing and supporting your audit team to ensure the audit is delivered to standards and within budgets
• Liaising with clients
• Completing audit files for review by RI
• Implementing statutory and regulatory changes and contributing to the firm’s compliance
• Developing and teaching junior colleagues

What you will need to succeed:

• Be ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 7 years audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Have experience in leading audits
• Have a strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Knowledge of CaseWare Audit software would be useful but not essential.
• Good communicator and team player
